The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter: Ready for the Task

October 9th, 2018 by

In 2017, Sprinter announced a redesign of the Sprinter Van, and the features of this redesigned model can be found in the 2018 Sprinter Van and the 2019 Sprinter Van. The practical, yet stunning Sprinter features modern technologies for the Mercedes-Benz Vans fleet.

Mercedes-Benz described, “The outstanding new features include the comprehensive introduction of driving assistance systems and connectivity services in combination with new telematics, which will bring a leap forward in efficiency for vehicle and fleet management. Moreover, the new Sprinter can be even more precisely adapted to individual transport and sector requirements thanks to a considerably extended range of variants. With this combination, the new Sprinter is a unique proposition as an overall system solution in the van market.”

Volker Mornhinweg, Head of Mercedes-Benz Vans, said, “We want to do more than just build the best vehicles. We want to offer the most suitable mobility solution for every sector and for every transport assignment. And that is precisely our focus with the upcoming Sprinter generation as an overall system solution. It also goes without saying that the new edition of our iconic van possesses the classical attributes of reliability, safety and cost-effectiveness.”

And if these amazing features were not enough, for three years in a row, Sprinter has been named the most reliable van on the market in an FN50 study conducted in the United Kingdom. In charge of the study, Stephen Briers, Editor-in-Chief of Fleet News, said, “Mercedes-Benz Vans dominated the 2017 FN50 reliability study, taking top spot in both the brand and model categories. The study was based on the actual breakdown and warranty claims figures from almost 250,000 vans…” The Sprinter van is adaptable for nearly all business settings and proves to be the best commercial vehicle on the road.
